Attentive and friendly staff in a stylish hotel with a cosy atmosphere. Great access to the canal neighborhoods and restaurants by turning left out the front door and taking the first left down a side alley. We walked everywhere and felt very safe. Chi at the front desk was especially helpful in arranging restaurant reservations for us.

Friendly helpful staff. Large dining area, overlooking the canal, which was kept spotless with tables being cleared quickly. Food in the restaurant was delicious. Rooms were quiet and we weren't aware of other guests, and the hotel was almost fully booked.

Absolutely gorgeous architecture and very unusual location -- smack dab in the middle of the Red Light district. Literally surrounded by bars and sex shops. Recommend getting there when it opens (9a) or later in the afternoon to avoid crowds.
