The whole place feels special. It is beautifully decorated, well designed, and features some truly unique aspects. The saline cave for instance is amazing, and open 24/7. The food was also inspired and tasty, and offered for the right price.

The location could not have been better. Directly on the best street in town with easy access to everything. The garden was lovely and a great place to relax. Our room was great open to the garden but it was a bit public entering into the hallway.

Our tour guide, Jorge was very informative and spent a lot of time with us. I highly recommend hiring a guide. We wanted to learn as much about the Mayan culture as possible and we weren't disappointed. The overwhelming number of vendors was disappointing however and took away from the beauty of Chichen Itza.

I've been to this site three times and still discovered new things. Try to arrive sharp at 8 am or get in line a few minutes earlier to avoid the crowds, especially on Sundays when Mexican residents (with official ID) can enter for free. Use the entrance between the Temple of the Warriors to walk to the Market. Walk towards the hotels to see the Cenote Xtoloc. It's not as big as the Sacred Cenote (behind the Venus Platform), but most people miss it, and you can enjoy a less crowded view of the site.

It's good, but has been better.
It's good, but has been better. This was our third time here and the entry fees have escalated dramatically and you can't climb any of the monuments anymore, or see the Jaguar throne, very disappointing.

awesome there are some very special guides who take you at 5am to the site. Otherwise you also hire for 1000 peso ( october 2019- official price ) a guide at the site.
İt gets really hot, so take a hat, sunscreen and water with you. Lots of stalls for various touristic soyvenşrs at the side. But do negotiate for at least 40 % less. A mask priced at 1900 peso we bought for 500. And saw it at Tulum ruins souvenir shop for 450 peso.

Very close to Chichen Itza. Practical if you want to be one of the first visitors at 8 a.m. and still have a chance to relax a bit in the hotel before the checkout at 12
This hotel is very pretty because it’s built in the style of a hacienda! :) The hotel is not big and there were only a few other guests, so it’s perfect if you want to relax in the quiet, beautiful and historical area of Chichen Itza. We could be at Chichen Itza at the opening time (8AM) because it’s very closeby, so we only had to wait in line for 5 minutes for a ticket. The rooms of the hotel are clean, comfortable and cute. The bathroom and beds are comfortable. The swimming pool was very nice also!
The Villas Arqueologicas Chichen Itza are (in theory, read below) closely located to the site of Chichen Itza, which was our main focus for finding a place to stay. The hotel has a nice charm to it. The rooms a quite cozy and in good shape, even if a bit older. Somebody has taken good care of this place.
The rooms were rather designed for being useful, not the most beautiful to look at. Still, I could've imagened staying here for more than just 1 night. Everything seemed in good shape.
Really nice and confortable hotel in the middle of the jungle. Perfect location if you want to be among the first visitors in Chichen Itza (7min drive from the hotel)
Comfortable room and bed. Excellent location just few minutes drive from Chichen Itza. The hotel is very basic but good value for money. Hotel provides free dinks in the fridge, including water, juice, and soft drinks.
Motel style like hotel, nice staff, clean room, no fridge, mattress could use an update. Nice warm swimming pool. Restaurant serves a nice 'Sopa de Lima'. Most important, the location is just 5 minutes from Chichen Itza.
Clean rooms, nice staff. Despite having no breakfast there was really nice cake and coffee available in the morning. Very close to Chichen Itza, which means you van be there at 9 in the morning, begore the crownd and the heat. Really worth it. nice restaurants around hotel, parking provided.
