We chose Hotel Macedonia Square as it looked like affordable luxury, located in central Skopje and that's exactly what it was. The staff couldn't do enough to help us, the rooms were plush and comfortable (the showers were amazing) and it was perfectly located just off the main city square. We were a group of 7 (2x double rooms and 3x single) and we all really enjoyed our stay. I didn't opt for the breakfast whilst we were there, but one of our party did and really enjoyed the selection. I would 100% stay here again.

Goran is the most fantastic host & even let my friend & I check in early. The location is perfect for visiting the city, but a little set back so you don’t get the noise. It’s also perfectly placed for all the sights, restaurants and parks. Great air conditioning in the room, which was much appreciated as it was still quite hot. Nice addition to the rooms of either a sofa or chairs & tables plus a dressing table. Also power points besides the bed. The decor is really nice too, bright & fun, yet also a light & airy feel too - very relaxing. The internet connection is really good, great as i didn’t have phone data. Would definitely come back again.

Really spacious apartment right in the heart of Skopje. Easy to get to with very detailed instructions. Great gateway to see most important things in the city: museum of Macedonian struggle, the fortress, old bazaar, stone bridge or house of Mother Theresa. The recommendation pdf that was attached to our reservation was really useful.
The apartment is very beautiful, clean spacious, and newly renovated all that you need… Private parking in the garage nearby was a bonus

THE LOCATION OF THE HOTEL IS EXCELLENT! MOST PLACES OF INTEREST ARE NEARYBY AND IN EASY WALKING DISTANCE! THE BAZAAR IN A COUPLE OF MINUTES, THE STONE BRIDGE IN 10 MINUTES AND CITY CENTRE WITHIN 15 MINUTES.
It was the best host I ever met in this kind of apartments renting, She was so helpful with everything and her suggestions about breakfast places and restaurants was super good. All of us was so impressed of her, a real ambassador for Northmacedonia. It was located 200-500 meters from the macedonia square, the stone bridge, bazar and the city centre with so many different good restaurants and bars.
This hotel has only two good parts:
- it's right in the center of the bazaar, a few minutes walk to the stone bridge
- it has underground parking, our bike was safe overnight
The apartment owner was in contact with me before the arrival to confirm the meeting point and check-in time and the apartment is very close to the Porta Macedonia, where the apartment owner took us from this meeting point. It is in a great location to walk to the statue of Alexander the Great or the stone bridge. Moreover, we got a discount at the italian restaurant La Terrazza thanks to Jovan. :)

Staff was exceptional, had no complaints, was very friendly, and was very helpful, Hotel is in the center right next to Alexander the Great statue, The Stone bridge, Lots of Restaurants all within walking distance, the old bazaar is just across the Stone bridge..
Great location, close to restaurants, the Old Bazaar, Stone Bridge, surrounding monuments and a short easy walk to Bohemian Street. Goran was the most amazing and responsive hotel host/manager. He was super helpful with organising airport transfers and high quality private drivers and restaurant recommendations. Nothing was too hard. And I must mention the super cute “assistant manager” Leni, the dog. Would stay here again!
Location-wise it was pretty much in the old Turkish quarter (old bazaar). From here a 10-15 walk across the old Stone Bridge straddling the Vardar river brings you to Macedonia Square with its gigantic statue of Alexander the Great. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.
The bed was relatively comfy. The staff in the cafe down below who double as receptionists were wonderful (especially Dina).
