The location was beautiful as it’s in the heart of the jungle. There is lots of wildlife and they have very cute puppies which Mira takes wonderful care of. The young man working there was also very nice and helpful. The room we were moved to was wonderful and quite comfortable and private. The next morning they helped arrange a taxi for us which was great as we had a long journey.

Everything goes very nice and happy ...staff gave good support and service..very nice comfortable place its very near to town and the Temple so no any rush for Traveling around...nice Yala Safari they arranged us..very nice and EXPERT Driver on this cause, his very tactical and gave us nice travel in the YALA Forest...he showed us the Sri Lankan Tiger its very hard to find but he put his all talent to succeed that challenge ...all staff very nice..thanks

The pool was excellent, has a seperate toddler section that my 3 year old spent an hour in.
the staff were very friendly, particularly the restaurant staff. I really appreciated their hospitality.
The lake view was nice and we saw some interesting wildlife (hornbills, parrots, eagles, monkeys).
The hotel is handy to the Kataragama temple, sellekataragama and has an appa Kade just up the road which was really good.
The location is convenient as it's very close to the Kataragama temple. The pool was also nice.
Good for travellers looking for a room only as the obtaining food is not recommended due to crazy prices.
Great location in the wild, Sameera was a wonderful and receptive host, we had a great time at our stay here. Was nice waking up to the sounds of peacocks and nature. Just note that you will need to hire an auto/rickshaw to get anywhere (e.g., kataragama temple, town...) although the property will sort this out for you.

The Kataragama temple is few hundred meters away from the hotel and walkable while the Sella Kataragama is 10 mins drive away from the hotel.
