The hotel was designed in such detail and with such care that over the duration of the stay I kept noticing new little details everywhere. They spaced were stunning visually and very comfortable. The location is handy for visiting sites north (such as the palaces) or south (such as Seoul tower). Staff were friendly.

Breakfast was amazing, they had a little something for everyone. and every morning was a little different from the last but the service was consistant. Kind of disappointed they didn't offer couple massagaes but overall there weren't anything problematic with our booking. We used the subway which is a little walk but not too bad. The rooms themselves were very clean and comfortable. I also wish to brag about the room servicebeing fast, kind and just going beyond. They really did make my stay the best.

Don't stay here!! Upon arrival, we paid for the room in advance and also a deposit. When we checked out, we charged for the room once again. I saw the mistake, and then we only paid the incidentals. ( they removed the bill, and i had to only pay for the incidental) I was promised that they would realse the deposit. Over 2,5 weeks, we still haven't seen any deposit. I have all proof that so it is .. but they claim that I haven't paid for the incidental. I have proof ... thank God for transactions 🙏. We will see if we gonna need a lawyer... but this has been taking so much of my time and energy... such a waist ...
So ... DONT STAY HERE IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE SCAMMED!! And don't wanna waist time and energy to argue for their mistake.
Attractively situated in the Yeongdeungpo-Gu district of Seoul, Union Hotel is set 4.1 km from Hongik University Station, 4.2 km from Hongik University and 7 km from Ewha Womans University.
Superb location near Hongik University Station and Hongdae District. This has a direct train to the airport and is a central station which practically makes all destinations easy to go to. We did not have to take a single bus in our entire stay in Seoul.
The location is perfect, it is so easy to reach to the hotel from Hongik University Station Exit 5. It is in Hongdae, so there are lots of things to do and eat. It is well-connected to the other attractions through subway. Beds were comfortable, the room was clean. The room had all the basics you may need, if you need other things like razors, you can get them from vending machines. We didn't use the laundry but it is great that hotel has that option. Breakfast was satisfactory.
The location conditions are very good, and most of all, the internal facilities are newly established, so it's very clean. It's very close to Hongik University Main Street on foot.
The shower room is not big, but the facilities are clean enough. And water pressure was good !

1. Location is close to the Hongik University, between Hongdae Station and Hapjeong Station(closer). Taking metro and bus or walking are all convenient.
2. Spacious and clean room. The shower area is separated from the toilet.

Very convenient and accessible to the Hongik University Train station. Variety of restaurants around the area. The staff are very helpful. They also look after our baggage since we came before check in time. You will feel secured and welcome!
The property was excellently placed for the airport limousine, Hongik University station, and buses.
You are so close to Hongdae Main Street without it being noisy.
Staff kept my clothes that I left and contacted me about them to come collect (whoops!)

The best part about this hotel is its location. The location was really convenient as it’s right along Hongdae’s Main Street and close to Exit 1 of Hongik University Train Starion. All of the popular streets and areas were less than a ten minute walk away, with plenty of shopping and food available nearby.
The hotel was indeed luxury and extremely nice. The staff were super nice and helpful. The lobby staff spoke excellent English which made it easy to check in and out.
The flat was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, and the host was communicative and very generous, they left us lots of watermelon and drinks to enjoy as a gift at the end! The location is near Hongik University and the "Red Road" which is super trendy and full of young people and delicious food shops.
