I wanted to hike Daedunsan early in the morning before the cable car operation started. So, I stayed at this hotel and it was the best decision ever. You're literally on the hiking trail! The whole way up I didn't see one person lol. And because check-out is at 12:00, I was able to rest comfortably after the hike as well.
The rooms are super comfy and the hotel facilities include a coffee shop, sauna, and meeting room. Unfortunately, I didn't have the time to use those.
(PS: if you're coming from Daejeon by public transport, you'll have to walk approximately 30 minutes from the bus stop to the hotel entrance. No biggie if you're there for hiking)
