Sad impressions - plenty of western tourists drinking cheap beer and having fun, and plenty of Cambodian children and young people strolling to sell rubbish, drugs, maybe even themselves (..?). Sad conclusions on tourists, taking advantage of the poverty of locals...

People are talking about Pub Street! Explore guest hotel reviews featuring "Pub Street"
It was my first time staying at "People by the community", resulted with a great feeling, staying in a very comfortable room and serving by friendly staffs. Plus, the view of the hotel was really nice, especially Khmer Arts and Nature around. The location facilitated me alots with going to many places such as Angkor Wat, Pub Street, and some Foods as it's really near from those places.
This hotel is beautiful and in the middle of Siem Reap. The hotel is clean, modern, quiet and the staff are really helpful.
The location is perfect for a tourist visiting the area - great for sightseeing etc. Angkor Wat is about £2.80 in a tuk-tuk, floating village about £3.50 in a tuk-tuk.
Pub street is a 10 min walk
Staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel is well maintained. We got a junior suite which is very spacious. Walking distance to eateries and pub street
The hotel is great in location. You can walk to pub street, cafe shops and restaurants nearby. Room is very spacious and clean with full amenities. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. They are ready to help during your stay. The breakfast buffet has lots of options too. We have such a great and relaxing time there. Will return!!!
Wooden bungalow was good with our own private pool .. there was free ride from hotel to pub street.
Breakfast was good, and u can select from the given meun.. owner is very nice and understanding. ..
The place is super nice. Very well equiped and very clean. It's close to the Riverside Night Market and the Pub Street. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They offer many tours, transportation, bike rental, etc. It's great value for money. Amazing place. Best hostel I stayed i'm 50 days travelling. Would definitely come back.
Such a quiet, relaxing hotel considering its proximity to the main party areas of Siem Reap. It's on Sok San Road, which is lined with restaurants and bars, and it's a very short walk to Alley West and Pub Street. That makes it super convenient to having fun and, yet, amazingly, the hotel itself is so quiet and tranquil so you can sleep easily at night. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the staff are very well-mannered and helpful. I would happily stay here again.
As a flight attendant I have seen a lot of hotels all over the world but this one is really something special. The whole team is so friendly, professionell and extremely helpful! The rooms are amazing and the direct access to the pool just breathtaking. Everything was clean and Wlan worked well. The restaurant is worth 5 stars with a great choice of lunch and dinner options. Further, they offer a free shuttle to the Pub Street with a Tuk Tuk. The best hotel choice in Cambodia during my trip!
This property is in the most divine and truly Khmer style, surrounded by beautiful rice paddies, stunning pool, fabulous breakfast and peaceful country like area, away from the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap's other hotels - but only 6 minutes from pub street. Staff went over and beyond. If you want a truly Cambodian experience this is the place to stay. Highly recommend it and would come back.
This hotel is just brilliant. The amenities they provide at such a reasonable price is amazing. Very big rooms beside the swimming pool area. Everything was so clean and the washroom looked royal. Pub street is around 3 Kms far from the hotel but there are numerous Tuktuks waiting outside the hotel. Definitely going to come back when I'm in Cambodia next time.

Pub street is great, but the food is small portions and expensive in all the restaurants along there, try and eat further out in the surrounding area. Get yourself some crickets, they're delicious!

Steer clear of Pub Street and wander the outlier streets for better quality food at reasonable prices. Learn some Cambodian, it works wonders for restaurant recommendations and cheaper prices on tuk tuks.
