Pav and his family were nothing short of perfect hosts, and provided a completely authentic Khmer experience! Pav acted as a personal chauffeur throughout my stay and also brought me with him to hang out with his friends and see the town and the market. The area is beautiful and although I didn’t do any jungle trekking, your wonderful host can give you a lot of information. The Wi-Fi is reviewed badly but I had no troubles with it during my stay. Thank you Pav for a wonderful time in Banlung ❤️

If you're looking for an authentic stay with a Cambodian family, this is about as good as you will find.
Everything about Bee Bee's chalet is amazing. The family are incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. Sinha and Nita were fantastic hosts, cooking breakfast and dinner for me and making me feel very welcome. They also kept me supplied with beer to drink in the evenings!
The kids are an absolute delight and love to say hello and play with the guests. Especially Bee Bee who loves to talk with us and play games, making the evenings go fast!
Facilities are great including free water from the fridge. The room was spacious with a private bathroom and the bed had a mosquito net provided. Towel also provided with the room.
The family also helped me organise a jungle trekking tour with one of their local guides - Ren - who was an amazing guide too. We spent 2 days 1 night in the jungle (the family let me keep my bags in my room) and had a lot of fun with happy water and plenty of food included. The trek itself is difficult though and a decent level of fitness is required!
