The hotel is simple but nice for relaxing after an ocean safari. The room was clean (no insects). There is an outdoor terrace.
The staff was nice and warm. The water pressure in the shower was low, but that’s normal for Africa. In addition, there is no water on the island, they use rainwater and bring water from the mainland for drinking. The food was delicious – fish, crab, prawns, etc. The hotel is not on the ocean, the hotel is on the second line.
We went to the hotel because we wanted an ocean safari. The hotel manager Ally organized a very nice full day ocean safari – coconut crab island, dolphin tour, coral gardens and also a small island tour. Ally also organized a transfer – by tuk-tuk from the highway to Shimoni port and then by boat from Shimoni to Wasini Island.
I recommend it if you want an ocean vacation.
Boasting pool views, Msambweni Beach House features accommodation with an infinity pool, an open-air bath and free bikes, around 20 km from Kaya Kinondo Sacred Forest.

Interesting and highly informative of the terrible era of slavery in East Africa. Knowledgeable local guides, both in the caves and in the related museum which are run by and for the local community.
