The hotel is just a short walk from Beppu station and is conveniently visible so you won't have to worry about getting lost. There is a combini right opposite the hotel so it is not a problem if you need to get a snack. The hotel breakfast was basic and you need to remember to clean your tray after yourself. Check in was smooth and I was glad that I could choose a pillow that I liked for sleeping. The thoughtful amenities was great too - I enjoyed the mask and the serum while I was there. I liked the layout of the room - I had a view of Beppu tower from my window and the table was comfortable enough for me to have snacks, read and do my makeup. The onsen was comfortable and I liked that there was a screen for us to check if the onsen was full and the availability of the laundry and dryer machines. Easy walking access to the shopping centre and anywhere else in the city.

Historical building. Please go there earlier to book a slot 1st. Typically 1hr ahead. If u did not book, then you will need to come back 1hr later for your turn. While u r waiting, you can go to YouMe Town shopping mall nearby. Don't eat before sand bath.

Place was very clean and comfortable and we especially enjoyed the breakfast set. It’s nice to be walking distance to the old takegawara onsen, although the in house onsen is good enough too.
Stayed at a tatami style room, the room is clean and comfortable. Free public bath. Location is around 10 min walk from station. Very near to bus stop, shopping mall and takegawara onsen. Breakfast is Japanese style, which is quite good.
The hotel is chic and within walking distance to the train station with a very reasonable price. It's also very near to Takegawara onsen, which is a 100 years old traditional onsen. The hotel also have it's own onsen though, which is quite nice.
The room was very big, quiet, clean, and comfortable. We made use of the private onsen for just 500jpy and it was great. Close to Beppu station and the historical Takegawara onsen.
The location is fairly convenient - close to the station, one of the city operated onsens with sand baths (Takegawara Onsen).
The staff are very helpful and speaks fluent English and decent Chinese. It was a pleasure just chatting away.
The cafe downstairs serves quite good food, with a reasonable selection of drinks at quite reasonable prices. Therefore going there for dinner is a pretty decent choice.
Perfect location, just opposite the station where you can talk buses to Kannawa area and to Oita Airport. A few minutes walk to Takegawara Onsen. Onsen was really good - make sure you try both. Price includes dinner (you can request for dinner in room) and breakfast buffet. Spread includes seafood and some chicken. You are also provided a cute yukata for use. The room itself was basic and a lil bit old.
