The location was very good being so close to the station. It's an older hotel but was comfortable and clean and good facilities also a washing machine which is perfect when travelling and small balcony.

Excellent location very near JR station, and short walk to Old Town and restaurants.
Room is spacious considering it comes with separate toilet, bathroom and sink, allowing the 3 of us to use them concurrently.
I particularly like the kitchen, with ample kitchen-ware to cook up a meal.
Breakfast exceeded my expectations since i was expecting just basic toast and coffee.
I also like the free laundromat - easy to access with free detergent, and the room comes with a laundry basket too.

The staffs are friendly. We carelessly wet the quilt, and hotel staff kindly help us change the new one for us instantly.
Then, the wooded bathroom is excellent! We enjoyed the warm and natural atmosphere when bathing. That’s so unbelievable! Finally, the location is closed to both bus and train stations, and only need 3min to walk.

The beds were comfortable and clean. The check-in (small tour, tea, explanation of the temple, 'introducing' selves for a safe stay, etc) was interesting and relaxing. The information about the history of the temple was very interesting. There were many different options for experiences unique to a temple (copying sutras, joining morning meditation, etc).

Everything was great. Perfect location within 5 mins of walk to Takayama station and ten mins to some of the must see spots. The hotel exceeded my expectations! Was much nicer than what I’d imagined. The room was also decent sized and not too compact like many Japan hotels. The onsen is also a must try. Will def stay here again!
The hotel is an easy walk from Takayama station, well positioned to spend one night before travelling to your next destination as well as visiting the city centre. The hotel is well decorated and offers plenty of amenities
Location is within 10 mins walk from Takayama station. Opposite the hotel is a 7-Eleven which is so convenient for us especially on the day that it snowed.
Room is big enough for 5 adults. The WC (toilet bowl) is in a separate room from the shower, which allows 2 people to use 2 facilities at the same time. We love the washing machine and the heating in the shower room helps to dry our clothes.
The hotel is within walking distance to the old town which is on the East side of the train station.
The staff were very warm and welcoming. The location of the hostel was only a few minutes walk from the JR Takayama station. We stayed in the Japanese-style room with futon. The futon was very warm for the chilly nights we had during our stay. Use of the shared kitchen and fridge was also kept neat and tidy by other guests as well. The balcony on the top level also has a very nice view of the mountains.
The 10 minute walk from Takayama Station to the hotel was handy but keep in minds it is a 20 minute walk to the old town.
Reasonable size hotel room with all the amenities you need. Hotel provided pjs were appreciated.
The location is good, next to the Takayama station, but I didn't hear any noise from the Train. Room was like an apartment, big and spacious. There is a washing machine (and the detergent pods smelt good) and kitchenette as we want. They also provide free of drinks in the fridge, so lovely thank you very much.

Also provided multiple types of complimentary drinks in room fridge. Complimentary use of washing machine. Has a variety of sakes to sample in the evening.
Friendly helpful staff
Location was fairly near the JR Takayama Station. A bus station is also nearby. Restaurants are a walking distance. I really liked their initiative to put together a tourist guide for Takayama which can be found in the lobby. The guide was very comprehensive in suggesting activities, destinations and food to try during your stay in Takayama. Twin Room was also fairly large for a Japanese Hotel. Facility was clean and would definitely stay here again. Staff has been really helpful, warm and accommodating.
The hotel staff was very helpful and even bow when you walk past the staffs. There was 2 microbus per hour from the Takayama station to hotel. (5 minutes). The room (Japanese style room with tatami) was big enough for 2 people stay and very quiet. There was 2 onsens. A big one on the 1st floor and a smaller one in the basement. The breakfast had plenty of food, buffet style and you can choose to have western/Japanese meals.
