Got the breakfast in the morning, which was very good.
Conveniently located for station and some restaurants.
The rooms arent large but are comfortable and the in house onsen is large and good.
Some good restaurants nearby, but Shiojiri doesnt have much else going on, unless you like wine and Whiskey.....

To no one's surprise, a Japanese hotel is super cleanly and orderly. The Route Inn gives you the option of having a light daily cleaning and a full daily cleaning. I opted for the light cleaning, since I'm not a messy person, and I was only staying for 4 days. The breakfast provided was also fantastic. Served in a buffet style, the hotel restaurant provided a variety of both Western style and Japanese style breakfast foods.
