New guesthouse and everything is new. Host has created a good and relatively comfy place to stay and hang and mingle. Bedrooms are clean and very spacious. Host is friendly and wish her well and good running of her guesthouse. There's a great sports apparel shop and an award winning bento set supermarket nearby. It was really good everything inside the apartment, you have everything you need.
Location is nice 15 min walking to Shingu station and supermarket across and restaurants around. Reception service is nice and they have a translate machine which benefits a lot when communicate to better mutual understanding. We can borrow a bike from hotel to visit city without any charge only if you break the bike or lost key.

There is an extremely steep staircase, as is common in old Japanese homes. Just be aware of that if you have mobility issues or are traveling with an oversized suitcase.
