Great location for touring around Nara, and the hotel is well-integrated with the visitor center so it is easy to find information and tips about Nara. They have activities that you can do, I tried the origami and calligraphy and staff (or maybe a volunteer, wasn't sure) was very kind and helped me. The room itself was amazing, great bathroom, comfortable and nice views. The baths were also nice and hot and great way to relax after a long day of touring. I felt the value for the price was exceptional.

The staff , the vibe , the decor . One find peace and comfort, like an oasis in the city. It was a beautiful and wonderful surprise to see deers coming to the hotel gardens. They walked around in the garden and ate some of the flowers and grass in the morning. We were able to get so close to them and it felt so peaceful inside the hotel. The hotel was renovated from a century-old sake production place, it has its charm and traditional vibe in modern comfort that the other 4 stars hotels can't compare. If our time and budget allow, I would definitely go back again in Nara.

It’s a beautiful house with great rooms and a very friendly atmosphere. The owner is very kind and welcoming! The location is great for exploring Nara. We loved Nara, both for cozy Naramachi and the beautiful nature and temples, especially in the upper parts of Nara park. Bike rental from the guesthouse was also great!
Great location in a quiet neighbourhood with lots of character. Short walk to the traditional machiya house in Naramachi as well as all the attractions of Nara Park.

The location was good, close to Naramachi. The staff were also very helpful, my friend had left her Apple Airpods in another hotel in a different city and we asked Miroku's staff to help make a call in Japanese and communicate that to the other hotel's staff. The Miroku team helped us with the process of arranging for the airpods to be delivered to us at Miroku, and ensured that we received the item when it arrived. Thank you so much!
Very well located next to the park. Quiet and small garden all around the house. Our host was very attentionnate. Excellent japanese breakfast. Very cheap for sleeping in a very nice neighborhood. Free bikes. We loved cycling around the small old streets of Naramachi, which is as nice as old Kyoto and lest touristic.
Great Hotel near Nara Park. Only 10-15 minutes away from the Nara station. Naramachi is also nearby. The people working on the reception are very friendly.
If you turn on the TV in the room. It gives Information on what the hotel can give as a service. Also it shows you sightseeing spots nearby.
The location in Naramachi is quaint, very central and surrounded by restaurants, old traditional merchant houses and narrow streets. The covered market streets is also just minutes on foot away. You are at Nara Park very quickly. We esspecially liked that the hotel offers 40min. of private onsen time, so that you can go to the bath as a couple. We also had a shower/tub in the room and the western style matresses in the tatami room were very comfortable! Staff was very attentive and friendly!.
