The room is very spacious, the private hot spa is right outside our room on the terrasse, with a beautiful view of Mount Yufu. The public one is also very beautiful!

She ready the lunch for me coz I went to mount yufu in the morning and left the bag in the hostel.
The environment is so comfy although the location is a bit far from the town, is really pretty when you walk back to the hostel so I’m ok with it.

I loved the homeliness and friendly community, all the staff and guests were kind and wonderful. The view, onsen and meals provided were beautiful. A perfect place to unwind for two nights in Yufuin, with calming music, a cup of tea and the scenery and not far from the base of Mount Yufu. The ‘country roads’ vibe made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. Especially the staff playing and singing the song whenever a guest heads off on the rest of their journey.
everything was fine, the host is a lovely guy, he came to the train station with his car to take us, as we arrived exhausted form hiking Mount Yufu. The small super hot farmers onsen in the vicinity is simple, but wonderful.Striking view on Mount Yufu
I went to Yufuin to hike mount Yufu. Yamaboushi is conveniently located closed to Iwao Byouin Mae bus stop, where where you can hop on a bus to go to the Yufu trailhead.
The main shopping street is only a short walk away, too, which means you can easily explore all the shops and restaurants.
There's also a lovely little outdoor onsen. When I was there, I had it to myself, which was extra special.
The staff are very friendly and accommodating!
