We had a great view of the sea. The bed is SO comfortable, we couldn’t believe it. It was a short bus ride to Amanohashidate and 1 hour to Ine. A great bakery and sushi conveyor belt spot next door.

Even though the single room was with shared toilet, there was a sink in the room, which was convenient for brushing teeth and washing the face. The shared toilets were clean. For people too shy to use the public bath at the hotel next door, there is a shower room at the first floor next to the washing machines.

This exceptional stay left us totally amazed with everything. I am surprised it was possible to find such a special place via Bookings. We had a pleasure to stay in a super beautiful and cozy private house right by the 1000 year old trample overlooking 180 year old gorgeous cherry tree from our every window. The host is the monk of the temple and each steps of the experiences was just so thoughtful and special. Very tasty vegan breakfast prepared with love and care. Even tea and complimentary sweets were of thé highest quality. Each corner of the place is crafty, extremely clean and beautiful. Also really nice and good size private bathroom! The Ine village is definitely is one of the very hidden gems of Japan! A totally stunning place with nice activities and exceptionally fresh food. We enjoyed a boat trip around the Ine bay, a small climb to the hill to watch panoramic view and very nice dinner with the view in Wadatsumi restaurant. I wish we can be back to this incredible place and stay again at the Temple one day!
