This lovely place is in a forest-like environment and you will need the GPS to find it. It's beautiful and quiet with trees all around and the hosts are very welcoming and accommodating. Dinner and breakfasts are available at extra costs. We arrived late so only had breakfast which was substantial and delicious. There is a choice of a Western or Japanese breakfast.
The room was large, super clean, and the beds were very comfortable. In the room is a toilet and a wash-handbasin area. The showers/onsen is downstairs. The onsen was very clean and wonderfully hot. There is a lounge and dining room downstairs. It was very nice to chat with other guests and the owners.

The location is convenient geographically to go around the Akan-Mashu national park.
The room was rather large. The onsen was open 24/7 and also rather spacious.

The house is very spacious and we could walk to Lake Kussharo. Very beautiful place. The indoor and outdoor onsen was lovely, probably the best part of the house.
Friendly people with authentic homestay with nice home cooked meal in location close to active volcano and lake kussharo and Maschu. Host dropped us off a train station.
Very spacious room, even had a private onsen indoor and outdoor and a balcony. The guest house is also an art gallery, so there are interesting pieces everywhere. There are several restaurants within 1-2 blocks walk. We were there to visit Lake Kussharo and other parts of Akan Mashu National Park, very convenient location. The staff left us park maps and information. There is even a picnic basket and mini-fridge in the room.
this is a very unique place! it is very unsual. there are art every single corner inside and around.
there are only 3 rooms, they are very spacious (we got the room #1); around 70m2 with a huge terrace. Each room has his own private onsen.
Very closed to the LAKE KUSSHARO; you can enjoy the free onsen by the lake.
