We booked this for our honeymoon trip and it was amazing! The hotel is only about 10 mins walk from the train station which was convenient when we had a large suitcase with us. It's also walk-able distance to a few of the tourist attractions in Kyoto. They have shoe lockers by the entrance where you can put your shoes (you walk around the hotel with your socks). Please don't take your dirty shoes into your room, the shoe lockers come with locks so it'll be safe there. The onsen was great especially after a day of so much walking. They're separated by gender but my husband and I always went early to avoid the crowd. Then we would meet afterwards for an ice lolly and ramen which was delicious! We also booked their breakfast during our stay, the traditional and Western breakfasts were amazing and recommend. We'll definitely be staying at this hotel again in the future!
The pillows were a bit hard for my husband but you can just call the front desk and they brought him a softer pillow. The staff are so friendly and helpful.

I love this hotel. This is the second time we stay there and our room was wonderful!!! You can seat in comfortable bed and see the very nice view of the Kyoto Tower. The room was quiet, very clean, big, a comfortable japanese style room. Thank you very much for the nice view!!! Of course we will repeat.

The hotel was really nice and the room was bright and big. From our room balcony we could see the Kyoto tower and at night we could enjoy the city lights.
The location was perfect and made possible the transfers by subway, trains or walking.

First and foremost the location of the hotels is most convenient for commuting. The transit hub containing Kyoto JR station, Metro station and Bus terminus is just a min of walk away. The transit hub has great affordable food outlets for dine-in and take away options. This makes the hotel one of the best in Kyoto. The hotel gave us a free upgrade to a large room with a view of Kyoto tower. It made us very happy.
