Large and comfortable rooms at the top floor as we booked the compact room, with all the amenities you could wish for and many drink options in the mini bar that are stocked up daily. Location was really good. The best were the staff. Genuinely friendly and going above and beyond to help you, five star hotel staff. The bath was also a nice experience as there is a little window. To look down on traffic. As we were on the top floor, the common area terrace was right next to our room and we loved having a drink with city views.

Beautifully designed boutique hotel in the heart of Kyoto. Loved the location as close enough to everything but didn't feel touristy, great neighbourhood.
Room was well designed and spotless, non-alcoholic drinks included in the mini bar, great coffee and tea selection. Friendly staff (always quick and on it) and good breakfast.
