The only plus was the location as we arrived by train and the hotel is a short walk from the JR railway station. And I was meeting colleagues at the Hokkaido University near by.
Love the luxury zen feel of the hotel. Everything was impeccable and the rooms were so comfortable. My favourite naturally was the onsen with it's bamboo materials and lovely pools. It's within walking distance to Hokkaido University Botanical Gardens, Odori Park and the Sapporo TV Tower...Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here!
The location is a little bit far away from the JR station, but it is near to Hokkaido University. It feels comfortable in this sparse place. It was great to have an open-air bath in the hotel so that I could relax in that.
I found everything to be wonderful about this place. The staff was very helpful and check-in was a breeze. The staff understood English as well and gave suggestions to where I could visit while in Sapporo. I did get to visit Hokkaido University Gingko Ave to see that "golden avenue" upon suggestion.
They have a complimentary breakfast, a simple but tummy-filling breakfast of bread, potato and vegetable salad, coffee/tea, juice. Walkable from the Sapporo Station, about 10 minutes, accessible also from Kita 12-jo subway station of the Namboku line and it's very near the Hokkaido University. For check out, you just have to deposit your room key at the designated box.
Location is excellent! just 200m walk to Sapporo Station where transportation and lots of food around the area. So near to the Hokkaido University where my husband enjoyed jogging while me and my son busy taking beautiful photos of the gingko trees during autumn. The bathroom is super spacious with bathtub and standing shower. Biggest bathroom I can get in Japan with very reasonable price for the room of 3 adults.
I loved this hotel! Location is perfect - very close to Sapporo Station, restaurants nearby and convenience store across the road. Our room on the 13th floor had a lovely view over Hokkaido University and the city. The room was very comofortable and new, with lovely furnishings, data ports etc The staff were so welcoming and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
