Loved the effort that the owner put into preparing the stay and items to use. There was food in the fridge for us in the event we missed dinner locations and the futon+bed was comfy. A nice stay area for a family or group of friends. The owner also prepared a trip guide which was fun to read through and informative

For value for money it’s a good option if you want to stay in Shirakawago and explore without the crowds. Recommend arriving in late afternoon and exploring the village once the tour bus schedule is winding down. There is a great izakaya close by where we had a lovely evening meal but there is also a good kitchen in the guest house if you wanted to cook yourself.
Situated only a 10-minute stroll away from Shirakawa-go Bus Terminal, Minsyuku Koshiyama features free WiFi access and free private parking.

How to make justice to this place and to the lovely, caring, generous, and amazing owners. The room had space, the place was beautiful, the food was delicious, the facilities were clean and great. I could take a bike for free and ride around the village, which made my experience way more enjoyable. Sada and Yuka, I will definitely come back and we'll have a drink together while watching the snow.
