Our room was very comfortable and clean and the small kitchen useful if you wanted to cook. Great bathroom shower and a washing machine so useful when travelling. It was on a good transport bus line which we used to get to and from the railway station. Good supermarket close by and also a Seven 11.

The hotel is small. Close to the main railway station which is good for walking distance with a heavy backpack or suitcase. Away from the main "attractions" which for us it was totally ok. It's clean and very quiet. The biggest room in Japan we had during our entire stay, plus had a balcony! The toilet is separated from the shower which is very convenient. Very big and comfortable beds. In general very comfortable stay. There was one boy at the "reception" whom we only saw once during check-in. He didn't speak English at all. We spoke through a translator. We only got the key and a wi-fi password from him. And we could leave our luggage before check in time. There was no one there on the day of check-out, no one provided us check out instruction before, there was a phone number we tried to text via WhatsApp but unsuccessfully. We just left our key and left. We know that many hotels struggle with English speaking receptionist in Japan but they do their best to make guests comfortable by providing different information. Here wasn't like that. If there was a staff on site to talk to and ask about different things, we would give "10" as this was a very good hotel. Unfortunately, we had the impression that it was a ghost hotel.
