My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Caesar Augustus in Capri for three nights as part of our honeymoon in Italy, and I can't say enough about how incredible the experience was. From the moment we arrived until our departure, everything was simply perfect.
We were upgraded to the most stunning Junior Suite upon arrival, which was such a delightful surprise. The suite had two balconies—both offering breathtaking views of the sea, Capri port, and showcasing the hotel grounds. Honestly, the moment we walked into the suite, it took our breath away. It has to be the most beautiful hotel room we've ever had the privilege of staying in, and we've stayed in some pretty amazing places around the world.
The service at Hotel Caesar Augustus is exceptional. Every staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and attentive, with a special shoutout to those working by the pool who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The complimentary shuttle service to and from the ferry port was an added bonus that made our arrival and departure seamless and stress-free.
As for the hotel itself, it’s simply stunning. The views are to die for, and every detail of the property feels special and thoughtfully designed. It’s located just a short 5-minute walk from Ana Capri, a charming and much quieter town compared to Capri, with more of a local feel. We dined there two of the nights and enjoyed some fantastic meals. The town has plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafes to explore, making it a lovely place to wander.
Capri town is only a short 10-15 minute taxi ride away, and the hotel was more than happy to call a taxi for us whenever needed. This made it easy to explore the more bustling parts of the island, while still being able to retreat to the serene oasis of the hotel.
All in all, Hotel Caesar Augustus made our honeymoon truly unforgettable.

Amazing location especially if you want to find a quieter spot on island Capri. We enjoyed our stay at Anacapri, from the delicios breakfast (that isn't buffet as at the majority of the hotels) and great restaurant overall, great staff that is attentive to your requests, excellent cleanliness of the rooms and exquisite lemon gardens that makes you feel the atmosphere of the island.
Very close to Anacapri center and you have a bus station right in front that can take you to Capri Center or Marina Grande. Very convenient.

Lovely old hotel which is really well looked after, beautiful furniture and art, very comfortable, amazing views and a stone's throw from Anacapri and Villa San Michele. Really nice clean and large swimming pool with poolside service. Staff are very friendly. Breakfast was good. The perfect base to explore gorgeous Capri.
The property is nicely quiet and beautiful. The terrace is super cute and it is located right next to Villa San Michele, so you could wake up and visit the museum before anyone else.
The location is perfect - sunset and sea views, very close to the bus stops to Capri, the port, Faro. Walking distance to Villa San Michele and the rest of Anacapri.
There is coffee, tea, snacks and fruit in the kitchen area and the breakfast is served at nearby Faro cafe, an excellent bakery where we had the best croissants ever! They were topped with pistachios
Everything was perfect! Would highly recommend Capri Melody. Clean, cosy rooms, nice terrace and very friendly and helpful hosts. Breakfast was really good. Location perfect for walks to Anacapri, Villa San Michele, lift up to Monte Solero etc.

Excellent location, cozy accommodation, located right in the center of Anacapri, closer to shops, restaurants, coffeeshops. The San Michele Church is just around the corner; the cable car to Monte Solaro and Villa San Michele are just few minutes away.
Marco, the host, was amazing: has maps with all the trails and things to see, prepares breakfast according to your needs and is always available for anything. Excellent, we recommend his place for a very comfortable time in Capri.
