Whilst not in the very centre of Rome, the hotel is actually really well located (perhaps better located than being in the very centre). It looks more like an apartment block, but it was lovely inside. The train station at Tiburtina is literally right across the road. the bus station behind that, there are bus stops outside the hotel, and Line B of the Metro (underground) is one block away round the corner - you can get a train straight to the airport, over to the Vatican, or all manner of other places throughout Italy, and the metro will take you to various points in the centre of Rome very quickly - either directly or usually by changing to Line A at Rome Termini - which is only 4 stops / 5 minutes away. There are small shops very close to the hotel where you can buy bits of groceries & there is also an amazing Italian restaurant just round the corner & behind the hotel! The room was very nice - a good size and very clean. The bed was absolutely amazing! It has to be one of the comfiest beds I have slept in anywhere in my life. I should have looked at the brand of the mattress! The staff were very welcoming, friendly, & eager to help however they could. The hotel has a nice bar that served great cocktails & the expected range of Italian beers. It also has a restaurant that seemed popular - though the menu was not quite what we were looking for, so we didn't try it. The breakfast was pleasant - a good selection of hot and cold buffet items as well as homemade cakes, which were the highlight of the breakfast (along with proper Italian coffee, which is unmistakeable). The rooms also come with a nice little balcony where you can sit and relax with a morning coffee or an evening drink.
