Everything from check in to check out was great. The staff were efficient and friendly. The space downstairs and outside was perfect, some private tables and a big hostel-style table. The decor and plants made the atmosphere inviting. We had breakfast included - there was a lot of choice, much more than "continental" breakfast. One evening we had an evening meal - cooked to order, fresh and tasty. The room was very comfortable with a lovely bathroom.

This is not a hotel. This is a family house and the owners welcome you like their family. From the moment you check-in, you never feel like you're paying them to be hospitable - the hospitality they show cannot be bought with money, it's genuine. They're the nicest hosts I've met so far.
The breakfast similarly feels like eating with your family, with your uncle (or cousin) preparing it for you. With the calming (sometimes energising) background radio, the hosts chat with guests if they're open to it. Unfortunately I do not know Italian so I could not join in the conversation (hosts know English very well, but not all guests do!)
The room is like a guest room in your uncle's house. It has everything you may need -- but not more. If you're going to spend time in your room, it won't be enough, but it meets basic expectations. The internet is quite fast.
