Hotel Balilla was located close to Roma Termini and Bus/ Tram connections are available. If you want to take a walk, then it is possible as well. Also the hotel response to my check-in and check-out request was very prompt. Maintained very cleanly and stay was pretty comfortable. There is a super market nearby for any urgent needs, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this hotel.
Hotel Arco di Travertino is a small, elegant villa with a garden and terrace. It offers free car parking and is just 5 minutes' walk from the Rome's Metro A.

I have to start by praising all the staff at Hotel Ri Di Roma, they were fantastic, from the moment we walked into the hotel reception the staff were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much bother. They gave us loads of advice and helped with directions to various locations we wanted to visit around Rome.
We stayed in a quadruple room which had a very large double bed and two single beds, a large TV in the double bedroom which had local channels available, a great bathroom with a powerful shower which is always great, a wardrobe and chest of drawers for storage, a safe for all your valuables, Aircon which was nice and cold too especially arriving back to the hotel after being out sightseeing in the heat of Rome.
The room was spotlessly clean, beds and towels were changed every day. The cleaning staff did a brilliant job, thank you.
Breakfast was available from 6am till 10 am,
Plenty to choose from, scrambled and boiled eggs, bacon, cold meats and various cheeses, loads of delicious pastries, yoghurts, and different juices, coffee etc, something for everyone to be honest.
The hotel itself is on the edge of Rome,
a quiet location after the hustle and bustle of being in Rome city centre, it's about a 3-4 minute walk to the nearest underground metro station which will take you into the centre of Rome in about 10 - 20 minutes depending on what part of the city you're heading for. Ideal we thought,
We were very happy staying in this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it as a base when visiting Rome.
Thanks again to all the staff. You were all brilliant
