We loved the traditional Tuscan palazzo, its painted ceilings and overall setting. It was very convenient to get to the centre of Siena on foot or by bus. There was a lovely terrace and garden to sit outside in the evening with a glass of wine and relax. Most of all, we truly appreciated the warm welcome and attentiveness of Giacomo and Lorenzo, who went out of their way to advise us on the best places to go and how to enjoy their city. All the staff were delightful without exception.
Certosa Di Maggiano is a former monastery located in the Tuscan countryside, 2 km from Siena's famous Piazza del Campo. It offers unique rooms, free internet and free parking.

Beautiful hotel with the best location that you could ask for, especially given the price. What made the state exceptional was the staff person? They were friendly, generous, and extremely helpful. They even give me a list of nontourist restaurants to visit nearby, and the one that I visited was the best meal I’ve had so far in a weeklong trip throughout the Tuscany.

Sara is the most delightful host with a wealth of information about where to eat & what to do.
We had been hiking the Via Francigena and were so welcomed. The linen is luxury. the bed so comfortable. Although the rooms are small they are so well fitted out with new lighting, air conditioning & heated flooring in the bathroom. Keyless entry with code, amazing communication with WhatsApp.This was the most amazing place to stay. Only 5 minutes out of the old city and so quiet. I would recommend this highly
