Overall, Palazzo Doglio provided a comfortable and memorable stay, especially with the thoughtful touches for our honeymoon. However, some aspects, such as the breakfast, pool access, TV, and room view, did not meet five-star expectations.
- Great Location: The location of the hotel is excellent. We were able to walk into the city center easily, which made exploring Cagliari very convenient.
- Spacious and Comfortable Room: Our room was incredibly comfortable and spacious, with a large bathtub that added to the relaxing atmosphere. It was perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing.
- Delightful Restaurants: There are five restaurants located in the square downstairs, and we found them to be even better than many of the ones we tried in the city. It was great to have such a variety of high-quality dining options so close.
- Lovely Honeymoon Surprise: As we were celebrating our honeymoon, the hotel surprised us with a bottle of Prosecco and a platter of fresh fruits upon our arrival. It was such a thoughtful and special touch that really enhanced our experience.

Great Location: The hotel is located right on Poetto Beach, making it convenient for beach access and beautiful views.
Beach Facilities: The hotel offers towels for €3 to rent, which was very handy for beach trips. They also provided shower facilities for €10 when we had a late flight, allowing us to freshen up with towels and shampoo without having to pay for an extra night.
Comfortable Room: The room was really good—comfortable and well-equipped for a relaxing stay.
Excellent Restaurant with discounted price: The restaurant besides the hotel (Litus Restaurant) was excellent, offering a 10% discount for hotel guests. The food was amazing, especially the linguine with clams, which was one of the best we had in Sardinia. The restaurant is highly rated on Google, and it lived up to the reviews.
Good Entertainment Options: The TV had a great variety of entertainment, including Sky Sports and access to Netflix and other streaming services, which made relaxing in the room enjoyable.
Polite and Helpful Staff: The staff were extremely polite, always available to help, and gave great suggestions for places to visit and eat.
Shuttle Service: The hotel provided a punctual shuttle service to the airport at a fair price (€ 35), and it was convenient that they accepted card payments for the service
