We visited the town in the evening and it was charming. The old town has typical Italian charm and the choice of restaurants was really good.
The town, the views are really pretty and worth a visit. I did not visit the many small stores but if you like the ceramic or local products there was plenty of choice.
Best to wear proper shoes as the old stones are typical and fit but not easy to walk.
Locals are friendly and foreign tourist were few. So it was very Italian and no so much tourist location.
We liked it a lot. We had dinner and drinks at a small place build into an original fortress tower (there is only one) and the staff was super friendly serving wonderful and reasonable priced food.

Lovely old town, but the newer part of town is also pleasant, they blend together much better than in Vieste in my opinion.
You don't need your car to get around within Peschici.
Perched on a cliff but you can walk down stair ways to the large expanse of beach which in low season was almost completely deserted. We were lucky with the weather.
It does take a while to drive here, on small windy roads, along the coast or through the beautiful Foresta Umbra (good hiking if you like that).
I don't doubt Peschici is a very lively and crowded place in high season.

The center of Peschici lies about 90m above sea. The view over the bay is magificent and the sunset even better. Even when the city is overcrowded during high season, you get around it. Some streets are closed after 6 p.m. so there is no traffic any more. There are a lot of good restaurants. The surrounding "Foresta umbra" (shadowy forest) is a great diversion to the all sandy beaches and caves of the Gargano penisnula. Keep in mind that you need time because of the narrow and curvy streets.

Perfect place for a day on the beach. Afterwards you can have a dinner at a simple pizza place that has the most gorgeous view to the sea and sunset. In every other place you'd pay extra for that, but not in Peschici.

Peschici itself is picturesque especially for the sunsets. I would definitely recommend two restaurants: 'Eden' on the beach and 'The Grotto'. Both had excellent food and service and a beautiful view of the sunset. There are lots of restaurants up the hill in Peschici but we tended to stay near our hotel on the beach.
The hotel is in a quiet location, very close to the sea. The owner and staff is amazing and always helpful. Upon our arrival they graciously accommodated our request for a room change.
Our small cottag was equipped with air conditioning, mosquito nets on the window and small table with 2 chairs on the balcony at the entrance. There is a large free indoor parking so that you don't need the car to go to Peschici town (up the hill) as there is a shuttle at 2€ per person per way.
Most wonderful apartment in beautiful Peschici! We had the room with the big terrace on the second floor and we were literally in heaven. Everything was brand new in the tastefully furbished apartment, spot on clean and the super kind owner Daniele was there for us, whenever we had a question. Parking is close by and included in the price. Breakfast was wonderful too: the croissants were to die for! We would recommend 100%!
The hotel is family run and a few minutes out of Peschici. The apartment has all new fixtures and fit out and has a full size fridge. while the apartment was cosy, it was perfect a for the week for our family of 4.
The pool was excellent and there is also some play equipment for the kids on the property.
Antonio and his family were lovely hosts and very welcoming to us and our kids.
The staff at B&B Villa Pacifica was extremely nice and helpful, although just one of them spoke English. The breakfasts were good. Our room was small, although adequate, but we appreciated that the price for three nights was very reasonable. Peschici is a lovely hill town with an extensive beach and good restaurants. We left our car parked in front of the B&B and walked everywhere.
Our hosts were exceptional, the suite was more astonishing than we imagined/anticipated, breakfast was tremendous, and dinner at their Michelin-star restaurant was truly one of the best meals we have ever had in our lives. The ocean views from the B&B are amazing too! We will definitely return to Peschici, and will hope to stay in the very same place!
The food was outstanding and this comes from an Italian perspective! The pools were great, as was the easily accessible beech. The family comprising two boys of 19 and 21 plus parents all enjoyed the activities with the last day beech tournament featuring a tug of war being a particular highlight. Overall great hotel for the value. It is not close to the main city attractions or the beach, therefore be prepared to drive to anywhere you need to go.
What I loved about the hotel was the staff, very helpful, super friendly and no matter what time of the day someone was always available to answer questions and assist.
Beautiful property with awesome views of Peschici town both during the day and at night. A true family business led wonderfully by Francesco and Antonella. Have dinner there every night if you can, the food is beautifully prepared and a true experience, with lovely hospitality. We were very sad to leave!
Rita is a charming and attentive hostess. The property is in an ideal position, amongst the pine trees a very short stroll from the centre of Peschici. There is gated parking (pretty rare in Peschici) and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. Our room was large and comfortable.
