A quirky hotel with the Jazz theme but very nicely done. Staff were helpful in getting tickets for the train into the historic centre of Perugia. Excellent breakfast. Main reason we booked this hotel was for the outside pool which was great but wearing the swimming cap in the pool was a bit strange.
Experience fine Umbrian cooking and comfortable classically furnished rooms in this country estate, renovated into a 4-star hotel and set near the A1 ring road outside the city of Perugia.

Very clean rooms - good bed linen and the room was a good size. We were facing into the garden and it was very quiet.
The pool was a welcome relief from the heat (end August).
Dinner - at the restaurant attached to the hotel - was excellent.
An easy drive into Perugia the next morning where we parked the car in a covered car parking area.
Would recommend and would stay again.

Event (pre-booked on their website) starts off with a video feature, followed by some tasty chocolate samples, and a guided tour starting with an exhibition on how it all started, with an extensive display of the many products sold and on sale, ending with an overhead walk along the factory and a well-stocked shop with items for sale. All you chocolate lovers this is worth a visit to set you dreaming!
