I have stayed here before. The staff are lovely and welcoming and give very good customer service. The room was clean and comfortable. This hotel is located not far from the town’s train station and about 5 minutes’ walk into town. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere and has character and charm. There is a good offering for breakfast.

We had an amazing stay at The Exclusive Hotel in Trento! Located right in the heart of the old town, it was incredibly easy to explore and take in the beauty of Trento.
The room was absolutely stunning – it had everything you could dream of: a jacuzzi, sauna, and even a Turkish bath all in one! We loved every second we spent in the room, enjoying all the luxurious amenities. It was so relaxing that at times we almost forgot we were here to explore the town!

Buonconsiglio Castle
This imposing fortress was called home by the prince-bishops of Trento during the Middle Ages. It consists of a 12th-century castle and an ornate Renaissance section – both of which are equally impressive in their own ways. But the main draw here is the Ciclo dei Mesi, a series of frescoes by an unknown Bohemian painter that depict medieval life month by month.

The staff was super friendly! We came 45 minutes before closure, and they granted us free tickets since we'd not manage to see everything properly) Though it deserves closer look, so had to come back)

I only had a short time in Trento and the castle is huge...
I only had a short time in Trento and the castle is huge...Bigger than I expected so it took more time than I expected. You can add a tour with audio guide of the tower to your ticket to see the frescos/paintings of the months/seasons. It's pretty special and definitely worth the time and money. As the castle is big and there are a lot of steps I recommend a comfy pair of shoes and a bottle of water to keep you going. It's a very interesting place!
