This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at; perfectly placed if the Stelvio Pass is in your plans. The views are stunning and we had one of the nicest meals in the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and if I come back to the area I’d definitely want to stay here.
Hotel Gallia lies at the foot of the Stelvio mountain pass, in the heart of the national park with the same name. It offers spacious rooms with a balcony, and an à la carte restaurant.

Food was excellent. Room was small, but perfectly adequate. view very good. Friendly staff. Room looked out over main road but was very quiet. I would stay again.
Hotel Traube - Stelvio is located in the Stelvio National Park. It offers free parking and rooms with satellite TV, private bathroom, and a balcony with views of the Ortler Mountains.

Very nicely fitted out, neatly kept, great balcony overlooking the street.
Restaurant served a set menu but it was good and well priced.
Free car parking right opposite the hotel.
Featuring a restaurant and free spa with hot tub, Turkish bath and sauna, family-run Gasthof zur Sonne lies in Stelvio, part of the namesake national park.

A family run hotel which was welcoming, friendly and had a lovely atmosphere.
Dinner was delicious and was extremely good value!
I would highly recommend this hotel.
Located in Trafoi, 14 km from Ortler, Hotel Ortles B&B provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar.

We were travelling as a group of nine on motorcycles. On arrival we had to go to another hotel 1 mile further up the road to be checked in and make dinner reservations (the hotel we were staying at was basically an addition to the one further up the road, where only the bedrooms and breakfast were served). Unbelievably bedrooms, the meals at the hotel were outstanding and a shuttle bus took us back and fore whenever we wished. The shuttle bus driver was actually the owner of the hotels, a lovely man who also took our meal orders (even though he had plenty of staff). A true gentleman. Apparently the Top Gear Team always stay at this hotel when they are driving the Stelvio Pass. A wonderful experience.
Facing Mount Ortles and set along the street leading to central Stelvio, family-run Hotel Stilfserhof offers a restaurant, and a free wellness area with sauna, infra-red cabin, and Turkish bath.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant for breakfast and dinner was excellent. Lots of choice and very accommodating for gluten free food and meals. There is a set menu for dinner which is good value, the chef altered mine to ensure it was gluten free and lactose free. The room we had was large and the bathroom was modern and a good size. The staff spoke English, Italian and German (I think French too?)
