Clean, well equipped, nice big room, excellent breakast selection, nice staff, great location - this was easily the best value and despite being cheaper the actual best hotel we stayed in our 4 night pre cruise road trip round southern Iceland
This highland hotel offers a restaurant with traditional Icelandic lamb and seafood dishes. Located by the Hvita River, it is just 3 km from Gullfoss Waterfall. WiFi is free.
The hotel is nice to upgrade us to the Hotel Geysir and is very comfortable and luxurious, with a big bathtub. Best hotel of my trip. Very thankful for the hotel kind gesture. The hotel is near to the Geysers and Gullfoss. Highly recommended.
We were upgraded from Little Geysir to Geysir Hotel. I think LG closed and G just opened, so everything new.
Receptionist appeared to really care about providing a good service and making sure you had a good visit.

As we were upgraded to the Geysir Hotel this review relates to that hotel, which is beautifully stylish with tall ceilings and lots of stone finishes. Our rooms were spacious with good facilities and comfy beds. The bathrooms were modern, warm and functional.
The staff at the hotel were welcoming and helpful.
The food in the restaurant was delicious.
The hotel is in a beautiful location, a bit remote but still close to some main attractions (waterfall, geysir). The rooms are nice and spacious and the surrounding is nice and quiet. The facilities are new and the restaurant ist very nice. The food there was excellent and very fresh. We really enjoyed the fresh lamb and fish with the homemade bread. The breakfast was also very nice and had lots of fresh food to offer. Parking is right in front of the door.
My husband and I booked this hotel for our honeymoon trip to Iceland. When we got there they had upgraded our room to a balcony unit at their sister hotel, hotel geysir. The room was huge with a view of the geysir, plus a beautiful bathroom. Not to mention they gave us free glass of wine at dinner. Exceeded our expectations and made our first night on our honeymoon amazing!!
Lovely place close to Geysir and Gullfoss!
Perfect stay in a yurt with atmosphere and great interior in Nordic design. Iceland has so many boring middle-class hotels at a higher cost than this. Náttúra Yurtel is a lovely change!
The breakfast was served a little late (8.30), so instead we got offered skyr and fresh fruit in the fridge in the yurt the night before, so we could leave early in the morning.
Nice restaurant/pub at the camp ground close by.
The price is very reasonable and actually cheap for Iceland. Rooms are fine, but the double bed is too narrow. The location next to the active geyser Strokkur is outstanding. Gulfoss is within 10 min by car. Dinner is served at Geysir Hotel next door. This reastaurant is simply outstanding, and we had the best Sirloin steak and risotto for a very long time. Excellent breakfast is also served at Geysir Hotel. Rating: Litli Geysir rooms are 3 star; Geysir restaurant is 5 star.
We were upgraded to Hotel Geysir. And what an upgrade! The most wonderfull stylish comfy hotel we've been to. The rooms are fabulous, spotless clean, the beds were like sleeping on a cloud, the food at breakfast was delicious, the DINNER, WOW, amazing food!! The whole area is fantastic, way beyond 5 stars hotel!! The lady at the reception was super friendly, smiling, informative, so nice!! We'll remember this hotel as the best we've been to in Iceland!!
