It was a close walk to masjid al aqsa with lots of shops and restaurants along the way. The location makes it very easy to move around, especially when traveling with a family.The rooms were neat and modern. The staff were very pleasant and always willing to offer assistance when needed

Very nice and friendly staff. I was leaving the hostel for a day; they kept my trunk and brought it to my room when I returned.
I booked a private room for 3. It had a private bathroom and a fridge. More kitchen options, like microwave, oven, dishes, etc., were available in the common kitchen
The check-in is rather flexible: you need to arrive by midnight.
Our apartment provided everything that we needed, we had our own bedrooms with a separate lounge, a washing machine and spacious shower and we were a 2-minute walk from Mamilla Mall and car parking and 10 minutes from Jafa Gate. Our apartment is close to all of the holy sites which you can walk to including the Mount of Olives. Restaurants and cafes are a brisk 9-minute walk away with Taco Luis a short 2- minute walk from the door. We felt safe and secure here. 10/10 rating.
Great location right in the heart of the Jewish quarter and not far from most key attractions. The hotel itself is beautifully presented - exposed limestone walls, very quiet, clean and comfortable. We stayed in a room with a view towards the Mount of Olives. The room itself was spacious, well appointed and cleaned every day. The breakfast was a feast every morning - with a selection of hot and cold foods (both western and Jewish).
This was our third visit to Israel and staying at The Mount of Olives Hotel made our trip very special. The location is out of this world! The staff are super friendly and it was a most memorable stay
The view is absolutely incredible. You can see all of the Old City from the top of the mount of olives. The downside to that is having to walk up and down some very steep hills to get to the Old City on foot. The hotel in general didn’t blow us away by any means. But it was definitely worth spending several hundred dollars less than the other options we were looking at.
Everything was excellent. The sisters were all very kind and helpful. For a pilgrim the location is perfectly balanced between the Old City and the amount of Olives.
The view of the old city from the room itself and, particularly, the dining room was stunning.
The location was great for exploring the old city, and we loved walking along the Mount of Olives to access the historic centre. Being just a 10-15 walk from the Garden of Gethsemane, Tomb of the Virgin Mary and a little further to the Temple Mount was ideal.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We had a great experience at this hotel, first of all, location is excellent, 10-15min.from Old town, then again to Mount of Olives, transportation to other part etc. Breakfast was really rich and since it was fasting period for us (orthodox Christian) we found many vegan options at the buffet. The staff was helpful and there for any question or problem to resolve. Hope to stay here again!
The breakfast was excellent and provided guests with more than enough delicious food. You rarely needed lunch and certainly not an early one.
The location near the Kotel (The Temple - Wailing Wall), could not have been better - fantastic views from the rooms overlooking the Kotel and Mount of Olives.
