I am dairy and gluten intolerant and they could not do enough to accommodate me. I had a friend meeting me there for tea on her birthday and they very kindly made a plate with cake and happy birthday and all sang to her. I loved my stay as the staff were so helpful

The location is perfect. Close to City of David. Downstairs restaurants, shops etc so very easy to get around. Train/Tram line is walk able. Fresh towels was provided. The rooms are cleaned every second day which I liked because you can have a day to sleep in. Bed, especially pillows was super comfortable. You are in the hub of the old city so expect noise levels, but that didn't bother me.
The Petra was handy and of course, easy to find, being right near the Jaffa Gate and the City of David. Reception and arrival experience were a little quirky although more than friendly.
The location is great! It is adjacent to most of the must-visit places in Jerusalem (you can just walk actually) like the Holy Sepulchre, Western wall, City of David, Tower of David, Garden of Getsemani, Mt. Olives, erc.
The breakfast buffet is also good . The bed is comfy and the room is clean. They also provide cold water, juice and free soup for the guests at rhe entrance.
