The room was not big but we were comfortable for 4 nights. It's right in the heart of south city centre Dublin so walking distance to almost everything you'd want to see as a visitor/tourist. Probably wouldn't have been great if we'd had a car. There was not much of a lobby but they opened up to the restaurant next door for a huge delicious breakfast every morning. The women who worked at the front desk were very helpful for suggestions on where to go and where to eat. A very positive experience.
enjoyed the lobby lounge, great ambiance, artwork, cocktails and charcuterie boards! staff was helpful and friendly. room and bathroom were clean, beds were comfy. coat of paint in the hallway was just put up giving a fresh updated feel to the place.
0 Carbon imprint is impressive!
The place was lovely!
They allowed us to store our luggage prior to check out as well as afterwards at no cost. Everyone was friendly. Thank you !!
Love how private the beds are, in your own little box. Preferred the big open mixed dorm to the ladies only room which was stuffy. The security was serious. Guard at night and beep cards through all the doors. Felt safe but also kinda like a prison.
The property was very clean and very close to the city center. The staff at check in were very sweet and helpful and the security guards were always very nice when coming in and out.
The location is great! It is walking distance from the Temple Bar district and other attractions. Great food options right next to the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable even though it’s smaller, but average for European standards. We were able to sleep with our window open as all the noise from the restaurant nearby and the streets quiets down by 11pm.
Unfortunately we booked this hotel after staying at The Dean in Galway which we absolutely loved. This one in Dublin was not nearly as good. Did not have any cable tv and we are huge sports fans - wanted to watch the Olympics in our room and were unable to do so. This hotel is more suited towards younger party crowd not middle aged adults.
