share my experience with the hope that it helps improve future guest expectations of a high class hotel:
Breakfast Service: I had to leave early at 6:00 AM, which unfortunately meant I missed the breakfast service. However, I was surprised that no alternative, such as a lunch pack or acknowledgment of my early departure, was offered. This lack of attentiveness felt like a missed opportunity for better guest care.
Hotel Location: Finding the hotel was quite a challenge, even more so than locating parking. I mistakenly entered the wrong hotel, as both hotels share the same building and there were no clear signs or directions from the street to guide me to the correct entrance. While the actual entrance was impressive, it was not visible or noticeable from the street, which caused confusion.
Parking Experience: I had informed the hotel of my arrival time by phone and was told valet parking would be available. Upon arrival, I was informed the valet service had already left, which was disappointing. After some miscommunication, I was given directions to park myself. Unfortunately, those directions were unclear, and after driving around the hotel multiple times, I was exhausted and frustrated. The parking area had no visible signage for the hotel or car park, which only added to the confusion.
Service Level: After a 7-hour drive, I was hoping for a smoother experience, especially with parking. The lack of clear communication and signage, combined with the difficulty in finding the correct entrance and parking, left me disappointed with the level of service.
