The location is superb, really close to museums, star ferry and other subway stations as well as Kowloon Park and its swimming pool. The staff was super nice and the hostel was overall great. The building has two entrances, so make sure you enter the one where you can immediately see the 36-38 elevator, otherwise it’s gonna be hard to find.
We had a fantastic stay at the One-Eight-One Hotel. The hotel is remarkably new, making everything feel fresh and modern. It’s conveniently located with easy access to public transport and Uber services. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist. Our room was spacious and clean, with a stunning view that we thoroughly enjoyed.
We will definitely stay here again in the future.
Stayed just the one night whilst transiting in Hong Kong. Hotel is pretty standard Marriott fare. Lobby seemed a little crowded and busy but otherwise had a good stay. Considering proximity to airport, rooms were very quiet. Free shuttle bus leaving from airport terminal every 20 or so minutes.
This room is a lot bigger than the one I used to stay. Plenty of room in the bathroom.
There is a bench table which is better than a desk, more areas to keep our necessities so that we don't need to keep them in the suitcase
The one bedroom suite is perfect. Staff are helpful, resourceful, friendly, and courteous. Facilities include a rare to find gym and free washing machine and dryer. We washed our clothes daily. Location is amazing. A 2 minute walk to MTR subway, 5 minute walk to tram stations. We made so many trips by taking the cheap HK$3 tram to Causeway Bay.
The location was grand for us.
The staff at check in were v pleasant and our room was very comfortable with a nice view of the river.
There are two restaurants with the one on the upper floor being much nicer than the other on the lower floor. It was more canteen like.
The conceirge was very helpful as were other staff in the foyer area.
Fantastic location for transport and meals - a few minutes walk to the MTR station, bus and tram stops; many eateries around and nearby for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The one bedroom was spacious and comfortable but a bit tired not quite like the photos on the website. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
1. The location is great. The hotel is in the one fo best mall in the city, infront there is a mall with good and not expensive food court (thrre are a lot types asian cuisine) and close to metro MTR station. Also you can walk to the harbour (it's just only 10 minutes) to look at great views.
2. The room was pretty cosy, beds were good and there was a sofa with a table (comfortable to watch movie)

And in fairness to the one man, he was an older gentleman and I think he was just embarrassed because he did not understand us so he quickly motioned us away
Very helpful, even though they rush about like New Yorkers they will stop and try to help with directions. Except for one man every one tried to be helpful even if they knew no English. And in fairness to the one man, he was an older gentleman and I think he was just embarrassed because he did not understand us so he quickly motioned us away.
