The staff was Uber-helpful, and friendly. The location itself is well connected to public transportation. I’ve never had better sleep than the ones I had on the bed!
Location is great, close to HGK center but the hotel itself was disappointing. You have floors that have been renovated and the one still needing an update. We landed in the second one. The room and the entire floor was old, dampness everywhere, fungus in the bathroom, moist in the carpets, bad smell, dirty furniture, really old bathrooms. You can do better for this money in HGK.
It's a perfect place for the ones who need a short stay and save their money and time for exploring the city. The location is perfect, right next to the MTR and bus stop. Staff and housekeepers are very helpful and friendly.
I asked for another bedroom more modern because the one I got smelled like humid. Immediately, they changed the bedroom.
Also I left some big boxes while I was traveling and they took care of them. A great experience. The concierge on charge of this area about baggage and deliveries, is just wonderful. Thank you for your help and support.
The location is superb, really close to museums, star ferry and other subway stations as well as Kowloon Park and its swimming pool. The staff was super nice and the hostel was overall great. The building has two entrances, so make sure you enter the one where you can immediately see the 36-38 elevator, otherwise it’s gonna be hard to find.
We had a fantastic stay at the One-Eight-One Hotel. The hotel is remarkably new, making everything feel fresh and modern. It’s conveniently located with easy access to public transport and Uber services. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist. Our room was spacious and clean, with a stunning view that we thoroughly enjoyed.
We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Very helpful, even though they rush about like New Yorkers they will stop and try to help with directions. Except for one man every one tried to be helpful even if they knew no English. And in fairness to the one man, he was an older gentleman and I think he was just embarrassed because he did not understand us so he quickly motioned us away.
