I can’t say enough words how happy we were; from the minute we stepped into the hotel we felt relaxed. Everyone was extremely helpful especially Demetri who greeted us and offered us something to drink and suggestions on a nearby beach bar. The room had central air (Athens was 110F the day we arrived) and the most spectacular view of the sail boats and yachts just outside our window. We ate breakfast and dinner there on their rooftop restaurant. It was an experience from the views of the Acropolis to the sailboats passing and their chefs were amazing!!! The bed was extremely comfortable too !!! Also they had private parking which in Athens is a gift ! We only stayed for 1 night but we look forward to returning some day soon for longer. Thank you Hotel Alex for making our experience so special and welcoming.

This place is a hidden gem! You could hardly be any closer to the Acropolis, and the view from the rooftop is breathtaking! Staff was very courteous and super helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Can't recommend it highly enough!

The location is fantastic. Just a few blocks away to the Acropolis and lively Plaka neighborhood. The breakfast on the rooftop deck is amazing. Great selection of food with a nice view of the Parthenon.
