Argostoli is a great town, well placed on the island to be able to explore both north and south areas, plus very close to the airport and some good local beaches. The town is very busy at night with lots of places to eat and drink.

A nice place to visit mostly at night for a walk in the large central square surrounded by palm trees. Shop, have drinks or try different places to eat, lots of choices.
You can also use it as a starting point for boat trips to Lixouri, Ithaca or other wonderful beaches on the island.

A nice working town that was Clean seemed to be a destination for cruise ships but they tended to board buses and go north of the island so didn’t really affect the prices or day-to-day life. The town Square was full of restaurants but very European I guess to reflect the cruise ships the seafront was more traditionally Greek, although not that many restaurants to choose from but enough and everywhere was very good food. Compared to other islands Doesn’t have a quaint laid-back feel but definitely get a holiday vibe and nice to sit by the lake and enjoy the view. Shopping was good and varied. We found it a good location to access other parts of the island from

Beautiful city with amazing seaside cafes and restaurants. Just a couples blocks back there is a pedestrian walkway with a central square lined with shops, coffee and ince cream cafes and restaurants. We loved our time there. It is a short drive to the Botantcal Gardens, two Wineries and beautiful beaches. We left our hearts on the island of Kefalonia!

Sun comes up in one bedroom and goes down on the opposite balcony.

Daniela was adorable and such a warm greeting . She was the icing on the cake ! The mattresses were comfy which is unusual in Greece . Lift was a bonus for me as I have breathing issues .

Breakfast was excellent we both liked the option of ordering our eggs they way we liked with the toast alacarte.
The manager and all the staff couldnt be any more helpful, and I proposed while we were their so we will definately
be going back and now planning our wedding in Kefalonia. If your looking at hotels to stay this is by far the best hotel in Agostoli its only been open a month and lives up to a five star rating.
