The property is beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. It is in a great location, just set back from the sea and near a park. A flat 15 minute stroll into the town but there also a few bars serving snacks nearby. Very close to airport as well.

A stunning city with its own unique charm and character. Easily walkable both for the Old Town and its waterfront. Exceptional places to visit, especially the Old Fortress. Places that provide either wonderful views or just time to chill. A perfect location for a few nights stay.

Old Town lovely to mooch around with many retail and dining options. Both forts are impressive structures but a bit lacking in information and museum exhibits - very reasonably priced. Highly recommend Listons for coffee and lightmeals.

It is good to have a few days time.
It is good to have a few days time. Though one might be able to see most attractions in a day or two, it feels much nicer to take the time to roam through the atmospheric streets and see where one ends up and what is personally relevant at the time. It might be nice to visit the town market in the early morning hours; skip a breakfast in one's hotel and instead have breakfast in a coffee shop and sit between the locals; walk in non touristy areas and take time to make contact with sellers, like the wonderful owner of the religious gift shop 'Thomas', close to St. Spiridon church.
Take time for a siesta in the hottest hours of the day and start refreshed for an afternoon excursion to one of the recommended attractions, followed by a splendid dinner in one of the many restaurants in the narrow alleys of the town, accompanied by the songs of swallows.
We certainly come back, as there are still many things to discover and town and people deserve your interest and appreciation.
Lovely architecture, clean streets, classy cafes and restaurants. Fairly noisy, but seemed to switch off at midnight which was great. Massive choice and variety of cuisine. Modern, efficient local and island-wide buses. English spoken everywhere, and everyone was welcoming and friendly. Highlight - Apothiki for mezzes and fabulous local folk music at the weekend.

So much to see and do and so little time to see it all:
So much to see and do and so little time to see it all:
Churches, beaches, ancient sites, museums, The old fortress, the new fortress, watersports, bars, restaurants, coffee houses etc
One can catch ferries to Italy, Kefalonia etc. Scenery is great if it's not raining.
Dining out I would recommend The Tratamento, Filellinon 3,7 Corfu Old Town +30 26610 33267. It is about equidistant between Venetian Well and the Orthodox Cathedral
A popular trip is from Corfu to Saranda in Albania ( an up and coming holiday destination), Similar sites of historical or natural interest.
Corfu Palace Hotel is a fabulous hotel, with a lot of "Golden Age era" charm. Its location, with breathtaking views on the coast and old harbour, just a few steps away from the historic centre couldn't have been better. The staff were extremely courteous and professional - and the pool bar in particular served excellent drinks! The pool area is quite spacious, pleasant and well-kept (we even met their pet turtle), and the salt-water pool is quite large, so it never felt too crowded.
Great brand new hotel but surprisingly they have having running perfectly. Best Buffet ever hands down!! Beautiful Pool with self serve wine and beer and coffee. And it is only a couple minute walk to a nice beach and store. The Manager actually had one of the employees give me a ride to my next accommodation because I had missed the bus. My only regret was not having stayed longer. I can strongly recommend The Laguna Holiday Resort to everyone! Great Place!!
We arrived there pretty late at night because of our flight and even though it is a small hotel, it had someone on the reception that welcomed us and gave us the information about the hotel like wifi and so on.
Also on the following day they held our bag for a few hours after checkout so we could explore the city with less weight, I really appreciate them for doing that.
It's not a 5 star hotel, but it greatly serves its purpose of cost benefit.
it is located in the best area possible in Corfu town, in the old town. It is very good value for money, a large apartment with all the facilities you need for a decent stay. You have a dining room and a kitchen, we even received for free water, coffee, toast bread, butter/jam/honey and cheese&ham - all you need for a quick breakfast. The host was very friendly and she shared great tips and recommendations to visit around.
The apartment is perfect. I couldn't fault it, even if i tried. Newly renovated, stylish, with two air conditioners and mosquito nets on each window. The location could not be better. Right in the old town and a step away from the beaches. Maria is the best hostess, she is like a good friend. I love Corfu town's authentic rustic style but, it is a treat to walk in the luxurious apartment after walking in the summer heat.
This hotel is amazing! It is located around 15 minutes walking (!) from the airport and about 17 minutes walk from the old town.
The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The person at the reception was particularly welcoming, smiling, and helpful.
What we liked the most was the breakfast.
We would 100% recommend this hotel to ANYONE going to Corfu town.
Situated in the best part of the city. Easy access to the airport by foot, and the city centre by bus. Beautiful view to the airport. Little bit noisy but who cares if you can see the landings. Breakfast is wide choice of local dishes and english breakfast too. Vegetables, fruits etc. Staff is helpful. Nice and clean bathroom, comfy bed. Recommended hotel.
I really enjoyed the position of the hotel in the centre of Corfú town. The rooftop bistro view was amazing, food was excellent, rooms were cleaned and fresh and design very nice. Wi-fi was working properly and the staff (especially Tasos) was very kind and helpful in explaining me everything and suggesting me the best tours and locations to visit.
This hotel is located a little aside from the centre but for us it was better. It still is walking distance. Lots of small restaurants close to it. The hotel is beautiful and they have live music on Thursdays. But the best thing is staff. They are so kind and helpful, specially I have thank Maria and Stavros, they are super!
Host is amazing, really welcoming and helpful. Lots of facilities including 3L of bottled water. Really nice view 2 mins from property, and old town 15 min walk.
everything feels very homely and comfortable.
photos are very accurate. It’s not a 5 star hotel but is safe and comfortable.
Fantastic hotel with the best towels. The room was perfect with a balcony and the view was amazing. Nice bathroom with toiletries. The staff were very helpful. Fabulous breakfast choices. The WiFi was the best I have encountered on this trip. Great location on the edge of the old town.
Very professional staff. The location is really great in the real centre of Corfù. The Rooftop terrace is one of the best in town.. Overall a good hotel so I can recommend it; you pay for the location but the interiors probably require some refurbishment, as it is all a bit old.
The location was really good, you can walk from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the city centre; there are also buses along the road. The room was big and enjoyed having a balcony with a sea view. Breakfast was quite good. Staff was very nice and helpful!
Great location, right by the Harbor, which is in my opinion the best location in Corfu Town. It’s right next to shops and restaurants. I had a nice sized room with a balcony and a great Harbor view. AC worked well. Staff was friendly. Hotel has an elevator.
This apartment was in a great location, right in the heart of Corfu town. Alkistis was a lovely host she gave us a list of the best Greek restaurants and shared her knowledge of the old town. we would definitely stay here again.
Fantastic location near the picturesque tip of the Kanoni area. Public Bus can take you into Corfu Town easily, and the airport is super close. The pool area and food offerings were very nice.
Clean, comfortable and quiet. Really nice oasis, just steps from some of the best places in Corfu Town. The Garden was pleasant for morning coffee or a nightcap.
