Fantastic museum with a variety of exhibits from nature, to history to some quircky stuff. Really good way to spend a couple of hours. And for free - though you should give a donation as it is definitely worth it.

    Superb.

Superb. It put up a wonderful display on the divided times and The Troubles. So helpful. A wonderful guide near the entrance quite changed my thinking on Belfast and the Troubles. I wish I remembered her name. I was most impressed.

one of the best museums on the island of Ireland.

one of the best museums on the island of Ireland. It is eclectic but very interesting combination of themes. Nice college neighborhood around museum we were able to drop off clothes to be washed, lunch at a nice cafe, shop some unique stores and have time for full museum tour. Needed about 3-4 hours for whole area.

About a 15-min walk from the bus station & another 15 min to the City Hall. The Vagabond is a great place to meet other travellers -- it's very cozy. Offers a basic breakfast & coffee all day. The dorm bedrooms are a bit small, but manageable for short-term. Locker space. Friendly staff who gave great suggestions of which pubs to visit! A very enjoyable stay! Kitchen where you can prepare food, if you are that way inclined. Safe enough area. I stayed here because of going to the Ulster Museum.
