Gorgeous hotel in picturesque Shieldaig. The hotel and rooms were gorgeous and comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Ease of parking at the front of the hotel. The adjoining pub and restaurant is full of character and delicious food. Can’t wait to return!

Good food, we ate breakfast and dinner Welcoming staff Had a superior room and it was excellent. Well decorated and furnished. Lots of little thoughtful touches, e.g.biscuits, drinking chocolate, bottled water, tissues, table and chairs.

Close to the Skye Bridge in Kyleakin village, the Kings Arms dates back to the 1600s and has panoramic views across Kyle of Lochalsh to the mainland.

It's a small but very nice hotel. You should anyhow reserve some time to visit the pub and enjoy the great dinner (and of course the beer) there. The breakfast was great as well. No budget but you can order different types and styles. Best breakfast we had on our trip!
