The property is well located in the centre of town about a 15 minute walk from the railway station but close to bars and restaurants.
I arrived early, before checkin time, and I had a couple of hours to kill before an appointment. I was able to store my luggage behind reception and there was a comfortable guest lounge to sit in with free drinking water and hot drinks. The reception staff were very pleasant and hospitable.
My room was very clean and nicely decorated and the linens were very nice, clean and crisp. I asked for a quiet floor and it was very quiet, away from any potential street noise. There was a mini fridge in my room.
The Mount Rooms is set in Barry, 6 km from Penmark Castle and 6 km from Fonmon Castle. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free private parking is available on site on a first come, first serve basis.

Excellent location within minutes you are in the centre, staff friendly (free Welsh Cakes on arrival were a bonus), room was incredibly clean (Thank you Fatima), view across to the park and castle were beautiful, bed/pillows were amazingly comfortable and the room was so quiet even though the road was outside.
This country house hotel is in quiet gardens, just off the M4 motorway and 5 miles from Cardiff city centre. It has views of the mountains, free parking and free Wi-Fi is available throughout.

I was staying in Manor Parc Hotel for one night during a work trip in Wales. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, room was nice, clean. The sheets were nice and it has basically everything you might need in a short stay. The breakfast was really nice - the food was goood and pletiful and the space itself is beautiful.
