Fantastic views, very comfortable room, superb restaurant. staff were excellent, service was superb. I really cannot fault the Salthouse on anything.

Recent one night stay, the Hedges Hotel is very nice, clean, comfortable rooms, staff are very helpfull, friendly, breakfast was good. Great location for walking to the dark hedges. There was a wedding in the hotel on the night of our stay, the venues windows were all open therefore the music was quite loud until late, bedroom doors need good pressure to close, doors were constantly banging late at night and early morning.

This little island is just unreal.
This little island is just unreal. The scenery, the people, just everything about it is amazing. If you have never been, make a plan to visit! And if you've been before? Pop over again because it is just too beautiful not too!

i would advise to book ferry in advance before arrival as it...
i would advise to book ferry in advance before arrival as it can be booked up before sailing. On arrival we got the local bus was a great way to see the island and that took us to the sanctuary and the upside down lighthouse we saw the puffins and they are beautiful and all the other birds also the bar and restaurant on the Island is lovely too and you can hire bikes our go on the many walking trails .A must to see

Hosts very friendly and helpful. Full breakfast nicely prepared and presented. Good location set back from the road outside Ballycastle. Convenient for a day out on Rathlin Island.
Quiet and reserved place with all the facilities needed. The house itself is set up with all the necessities such as breakfast which includes pancakes, milk, butter, etc. Neat, safe, and tidy cottage. A huge thank you to Colette who was warm and welcoming. The house is located near the town which makes it easily accessible to the shops and only takes about 4-5 minutes for grocery shopping. Beautiful coastal area also with ferry rides to Rathlin Island. Strongly recommended!
Beautiful apartment in an excellent location. On the sea front close to shops, bars, restaurants and the ferry to Rathlin Island.
Apartment is very homely and cosy and beautifully appointed throughout. Very comfortable beds, gorgeous shower and very well equipped kitchen with all mod cons which made our stay extremely pleasant.
Excellent communication from owner who went over and above to deal with a query we had regarding access to the apartment.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning soon.
Great carpark, had everything in the house that we needed . Spotless inside , loads of space , comfy beds. Paul the host is the best ever host . We had a major transport problem which meant we could have missed out on our trip to Rathlin island but Paul was most helpful in solving our problem.
The location was perfect as we had planned a trip to Rathlin Island and the ferry landing was only minutes away. The hotel was friendly and the food was good. I thought the hotel a little expensive as it had no leisure facilities.
It was also close to many amenities on the Antrim Coast.
We felt so lucky to be staying in such a beautiful home. The interior decor was stunning and looked like new.
There was even a lounge area for guests to use.
Our room was just beautiful with a huge en-suite room.
Breakfast was exceptional - we were introduced to overnight oats, which were a taste sensation and now a staple breakfast meal. I'd always been put off thinking it would be like eating cold porridge - oh how wrong I was.
Absolutely loved staying here, and we will be coming back - we still have the trip to Rathlin Island to do.
Location has outstanding views over the Sea of Moyle to Rathlin Island and the Mull of Kintyre beyond. Hotel is presented to a high standard. Food and service excellent.

This apartment is really close to the ferry for Rathlin Island which is a lovely wee day trip.
