Absolutely value for money. Our room was fab. There were plenty of extras. A nice touch with the dressing gown and slippers. The evening meal was lovely and breakfast was great. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We'll definitely be back.

The location was great for visiting Powis Castle. We rated the staff and food. We appreciated the beer garden at the rear of the hotel during the hot weather. It was cool and shaded.
Excellent hotel and very convenient for visiting Powis Castle - but don't follow satnav as it drops you in a small private car park in the middle of Welshpool and it is another two miles!!!
This is a very comfortable hotel. The staff are very welcoming. The food at breakfast and dinner was very good with vegetarian options. The availability of secure on-site parking was much appreciated. It's very convenient to walk to Powis Castle.
Great location although car park very hard to find. I gather it has a different post code to the hotel - would have been good to know before arrival! Staff friendly. Very central and close to Powis Castle. Room quiet even though centre of town. Able to open windows.
The staff and food where excellent, Mandy in particular stood out, nothing was to much trouble for her and with a great sense of humour a real star. Position was perfect for a trip to Powis Castle which is walkable from the hotel.
The staff were highly professional and helpful. The food at breakfast and dinner was delicious. The hotel is well situated for walkers and for visiting the nearby Powis Castle and Gardens.
Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Really nice room with a compact en-suite and good shower. Breakfast selection was very good and evening meal in the restaurant was excellent. The hotel was in the centre of Welshpool, near to lots of interesting shops, cafes, restaurants and the canal. Powis castle was very close by.
Reception staff were friendly and very helpful. The parking facilities were great - off road parking right next to the hotel. The toiletries in the room were also of good quality. The location was excellent and we had a lovely walk from the hotel to Powis castle through the deer park as recommended by the receptionist.
