We are seasoned travellers in our mid seventies to put this in context. The location of the hotel was good. The room was functional and relatively large but essentially basic. We were supposedly upgraded from our original booking but it didnt feel like a superior room. The room had everything we needed. The staff were very helpful. The extension cord and multi point adapter was useful. The bed was comfortable.

Good location, central to tram stop and alternative eateries. Beds are very comfortable, rooms clean. The sofa in the suite looked great and very comfortable. But the room looked different to the photo online . The power shower is exceptional and 🛁 bath comfortable. The extras in the room were appreciated. I particularly liked how issues were resolved swiftly by management at reception. Special mention to them and the friendly bar staff on Wednesday, 19th June .
The peaceful ambience in the hotel and the harbour view from the room
Thank you for sorting things swiftly that the trip and occasion wasn't a disaster.
