Lovely and lively place, the bar was packed for live music even on a weeknight. We were warned you might be able to hear the music at night from an 'economy' room, but honestly the noise didn't travel far. Was more fun to join anyway, and enjoy a dram!

Great location, clean, warm, good value for money.
A fantastic opportunity to stay in this amazing hotel which is owned by ex forces Tony who is still working on it. Great location for Highland Wildlife Park which we were visiting. Kitchen has microwave and tea, coffee etc to make your own breakfast or bring in food to eat in dining room. There is a pub nearby which will order in a takeaway for you. Love the paintings and military insignia.
Nice homely feel with very comfortable beds and pillows. We’ll equipped kitchen. Right next the the Highland wildlife park, perfect for my daughter who was at summer camp. Short drive to Kingussie and a little further to Aviemore. Good base location.
The cottage was clean, spacious and comfortable. The layout of it is quite unusual but very good for a family visit. Also the beds and bedding were a very comfortable and of decent quality. The location is also very good as it's right beside the Highland wildlife park and a short drive from water sports, quad biking and many other pursuits.
It's a lovely cottage which is very cosy and feels, thanks to the interior, like a real home.
The kitchen is very well equipped and we didn't miss a thing.
We enjoyed the location right next to the Highland Wildlife Park which is also worth a visit. It is a good location from where to reachout for all the beautiful places in the Cairngorms.
Very friendly and helpful staff, superb breakfast ( full English plus yoghurts, cereals etc. to choose from ), excellent location with mountains and great places to see nearby - incl. Highland Wildlife Park, Landmark Adventure Park, Cairngorms National Park - Mountains and Lochs, a lot of activities available in the centre and many more in short distance from there. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. In the nature, but close to Aviemore - shops, restaurants, places to visit, sports, outdoors, walks etc.
Clean room. 2 min walk to the lovely boathouse restaurant. A good breakfast with lots of choice. Large lounge area with television, dvds and boardgames. Stunning location. Stones throw from the Highland Wildlife park. A lot to do on site at a discounted rate!!
Cottage is in a superb location right next to the Highland Wildlife Park which we loved and a convenient 15 mins to Aviemore and the Cairngorm Road.
It has character and is spacious and comfortable. It kept very cosy even in the bad weather once it had warmed up.
Very clean, lovely paintings by the owner brightened the house. Handy spot but nice and quiet, away from the madness that is peak season Aviemore! Loch Insh water sports and highland wildlife park are very near by, as is the excellent post office cafe and gallery.
