Super comfortable bed - liked the goose down pillows so much we're ordering from hotel supplier. Step from room into garden for guests, sit in the sun outside or peer over wall for panoramic view. Stylish bathroom, power shower with gels etc. Sleek multi-level building design. Easy check-in with smiley staff. Good exercise walking down to city centre.

The location and old hotel literally next to the train station and ten mins walk to the old market square was excellent for us. We had a std double room with bathroom and found it perfect for us. The room was clean light and airy. Breakfast was simple but good. The staff were friendly and helpful.

My granddaughter is studying at Nottingham University which stands in this wonderful park. We had a lovely walk around the whole area including seeing the university from all angles. There are some well presented gardens and there is a lot of wild life on the ponds. Well worth a visit. Costs you nothing to enjoy a nice walk. The buses and trams serve the university every few minutes.
